Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using MediAssist Care services. By booking a companion, submitting a request, or using our services in any way, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. About MediAssist Care
MediAssist Care is a companion assistance service operated by Mediwise Health, providing trained and verified companions to support elderly individuals, patients and their families in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Our services include hospital visit assistance, hospital stay companion support, travel assistance, walking assistance for elderly and daily errand support.
2. Nature of Service
MediAssist Care provides companionship and non-medical assistance services. Our companions are not licensed medical professionals and do not provide medical treatment, diagnosis, or clinical care.
⚠️ Important: Our companions are trained for assistance and companionship only. For any medical emergency, please call 108 (ambulance) or proceed directly to the nearest hospital immediately.
Our services are intended to complement, not replace, professional medical care.
3. Booking and Confirmation
- All bookings must be made via phone call, WhatsApp or the online booking form on our website
- Bookings are confirmed only after verbal or written acknowledgement from our team
- The minimum booking duration is 4 hours per session
- We reserve the right to decline a booking at our discretion
- Companion availability is subject to scheduling and location coverage
4. Pricing and Payment
- Service charges begin from ₹999/- per visit (minimum 4 hours)
- Monthly plans (Standard and Premium) are billed at the start of each service month
- Pricing is subject to change; current rates will always be confirmed at the time of booking
- Payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation
- We accept UPI, bank transfer and cash payments as communicated by our team
5. Client Responsibilities
As a client or the family member arranging services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about the care recipient's needs and medical condition (where relevant to our service)
- Ensure a safe environment for the companion to perform their duties
- Treat our companions with respect and dignity at all times
- Notify us immediately of any changes to the booking or special requirements
- Not request companions to perform tasks outside the agreed scope of service
6. Companion Conduct
All MediAssist Care companions are:
- Verified through background checks before assignment
- Trained in companion assistance and patient support
- Required to maintain confidentiality about clients and their families
- Expected to communicate updates to designated family members as agreed

7. Limitation of Liability
MediAssist Care and Mediwise Health shall not be liable for:
- Any medical outcomes, injuries or health complications of the care recipient
- Loss, theft or damage to personal property during a companion visit
- Delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (traffic, emergency, natural events)
- Any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of our services
Our total liability to you in any circumstance shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service session in question.
8. Privacy
Your use of MediAssist Care services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms & Conditions by reference.
9. Termination of Service
Either party may terminate the service arrangement with reasonable notice. MediAssist Care reserves the right to terminate services immediately if a client engages in abusive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour toward our companions or team members.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
